Port Blair, Aug 03: A truck carrying musicians of marriage party today hit an electric police at RGT road, injuring several members of the band party.
According to information received here the incident took place when a marriage procession was coming out of Radha Govind Temple, RGT road. While coming out of the Temple premises, due to brake fail, the driver of a 407 truck suddenly lost control. But instead of hitting public and other vehicle, he took the vehicle towards a safe place and hit the electric pole. Injured people were immediately rushed to G B Pant Hospital.
