Port Blair, Jan 25: FM 100.9 MHz being broadcast from AIR Port Blair has been declared as the 42nd FM Station of Vividh Bharati Network by Prasar Bharati. Accordingly, two hours of local programmes will be broadcast from VB FM Port Blair in the morning and evening hours from 26.01.19.
It will be inaugurated on this Republic Day with the first transmission going on air from 0600hrs onwards. From 26.01.19 onwards the islanders can enjoy local programmes everyday from 0600hrs to 0800hrs and again from 1800hrs to 2000hrs, as said in a press release by Assistant Director (P), AIR Port Blair.
