Port Blair, Jan 22: The Bangla Joint Action Committee will be celebrating the birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose at Tiranga Park, Port Blair here on 23rd January 2019. As a part of the celebration, a voluntary blood donation camp will be organized at Mr. Arobindo Society, Shadipur, near Amrita Hospital from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM.
The same programme will be followed by Vehicle Rally from Krishna Mandir Junction, Joda Canal, Sippighat from 2.00 PM which will be culminated at Netaji Statue, Marina Park covering the vintage point Bhatubasti-School Line-Dairyfarm-Goalghar-Light House. All the members and volunteers of BJAC shall participate in paying floral tributes to Netaji. Thereafter, all the members and volunteers shall reach and join to Tiranga Park at 4.00 PM where prominent speakers from various fields shall deliver their valuable speeches in Bangla and Hindi on life of Netaji and role of Netaji in freedom movement as well as on Andaman.
The programme shall conclude with distribution of Snacks, as said in a press release by Angshuman Roy, Youth President, Bangla Joint Action Committee.
