Port Blair, Jan 22: The Andaman and Nicobar Media Federation will organize the first ever “ANMF Andaman Heroes Award” Function tomorrow evening.
For the much awaited Award, as many as 30 nominations were received from all over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, out of which only eight individuals (seven nominations) were selected for this Award, after a very strict and transparent selection process.
The eight selected candidates are from different background like Health, Music, Arts, Designing, Social Work, bravery, who have contributed immensely for the society and people of these Islands.
Mrs. Neha Bansal, the Secretary of Art and Culture Department will be the Chief Guest on this occasion. The especial event, opened only for invited guests, will start from 6.00 PM tomorrow at the Conference Hall of Hotel Mansha Residency, Port Blair.
