Port Blair, Jan 09: In a simple function held on 08-01-2019 Smt. Anusia Devi, Chairperson, PBMC laid foundation stone for Bitumen Road and Construction of Road Side PCC & RCC Retaining wall with RCC covering slab and CC Drain at Machi Line in the presence of Smt. Sheela Singh, Ward Councillor (W.No:10). The Councillors, Officers and Officials of the Council also attended the function. In her address Smt. Anusia Devi, Chairperson added that it was a long pending demand of the populace of Machi Line area. She also appealed the technical officials present there to start the work immediately and complete it in a time bound manner. Smt. Sheela Singh, Ward Councillor also expressed her gratitude and stated that development of Bitumen road, road side PCC & RCC retaining wall was a long felt demand of the residents of this area but due to some administrative issues the developmental activities was delayed. But now by the support of all the Officers / Officials of the Council the dream of the general populace of Machi line area will accomplish. She once again thanked one and all for the co-ordination and support for the work, as said in a press release by Chairperson, PBMC.
