As per parents the student came all the way to Port Blair with medical staffs of Rangat and there was no one from the school, which is supposed to be a boarding school.

Andaman Sheekha tried to contact the Principal of JNV Middle Andaman, Panchawati over land line and mobile but no one responded even after dozens of calls.
“If this remains the attitude of JNV Middle Andaman, Panchawati then how can parents consider that their children are safe in the school,” questioned Mr. Anand Amrit Raj a grassroot leader of South Andaman area. The boy originally hails from Manpur village of South Andaman.
