Diglipur, Dec 03: World Disability Day celebrated at Diglipur today on 3rd Dec. ICDS Diglipur organized the programme at multipurpose hall, followed by lighting of lamp by Chief Guest Pramukh Diglipur. Speaking on this occasion Mr. M P Rajmohan CDPO (i/c) said that “Specially challenged people just do not need courtesy and compassion, but real empowerment which would come through education. It is one of the top most priorities to make sure that the rights of specially challenged people are ensured”.
A colourful cultural programme along with drawing, ball passing and singing painting competitions were organized on the occasion, winners were awarded with prizes. CMO CHC Diglipur, PRI members, Anganwadi workers, disabled persons and general public attended this programme.
