Port Blair, July 26: In a letter written to Chief Secretary, A&N Administration today Mr. P.Kannan, President of Government Employees Federation, A&N Islands has requested him to take necessary action to conduct limited Departmental Examination for qualified and eligible group “C” employees drawing Grade Pay of 1800 in PB-1 for promotion to the post of LGC under AC Cadre, which has been pending for a long time and fulfill the shortages of LGCs under A&N Administration.
