Port Blair, Nov 30: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Regional centre Port Blair celebrated the World AIDS Day on Friday 30th November, 2018. The students of Masters / Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Diploma / Certificate in HIV & Family Education and Bridge Programme in Certificate in Community Health for Nurses have participated in the function. The resource person Dr. M. Joy, Project Director, Andaman and Nicobar AIDS Control Society interacted with IGNOU students about the prevention of AIDS. The study material of HIV & Family Education have been displayed as part of exhibition on World AIDS Day. All students have been provided with participation Certificate. Besides IGNOU students, the Academic Counsellors also attended the function. A communication from Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre-Port Blair said.
