Port Blair, Nov 20: Along with rest of India the Andaman Nicobar Pradesh Congress Committee also observed the 101th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Smt. Indira Gandhi, the Iron Lady, a great patriot, recipient of Jawaharlal Nehru award for international understanding & Lenin Peace Prize and the first lady Prime Minister of India at 9.30 AM on 19.11.2018 at Gandhi Bhawan Port Blair. Smt. Shanta Laxman Singh, Vice President garlanded the portrait of Smt. Indira followed by floral tribute by Senior Leaders and supporters of Congress party and general public. Smt. Shanta Singh in her brief address recalled the contributions of Smt. Indira for the development of India and bringing worldwide recognition in the international political arena.
