Port Blair, Nov 13: The 5th Nirankari Mahila Sant Samagam was held in Port Blair on 11th November, 2018 (Sunday) between 10 AM to 1 PM at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Junglighat, branch Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The Samagam witnessed participation of around two hundred Mahila saints from Port Blair and other parts of South Andaman District. Smt. Sumitra Devi, In-charge, Port Blair Mahila Sangat, presided over the Mahila Samagam.
On this occasion, women gave their spiritual and social messages of the mission through impressive songs, speeches and skits in different languages.
Addressing the Samagam Smt. Sumitra Devi said that the Sant Nirankari Mission is removing illusions and blind faith from the minds of people in every corner of the country and the world. She said that people are being taught to rise above the differences of caste, creed, colour and dislike towards anyone’s personal eating and dressing habits. She further said that they are being taught to treat everyone as children of one father and tread the path of love and humanity. In this, the role of women is also important along with men.
She further said that it is in the hands of women that turn a home into heaven, instill moral values in their children, and develop an atmosphere of Gurumat at home. They can motivate family members to attend congregations, speak sweetly, behave properly, and adopt traits of love, compassion, tolerance, mercy, politeness and keeping away from illusions.
Mr. Satya Narayan, Sanyojak thanked all the special guests on behalf of the entire Sangat of branch Port Blair and also expressed gratitude to devotees for being a part of the Samagam.
On this occasion, Mukhi of Chouldari branch Mr. R.S. Yadav, Sewadal Sanchalak, Mr. Janardhan Upreti and Sewadal Sikshak Mr. Sandeep Sutradhar were also present.
