Port Blair, Nov 11: A person got serious injuries in a road accident, when his moped was hit by a car in front of Bengali Club on Friday night around 11.10 PM. After hitting the victim, the car driver rammed the Circular Traffic Island and damaged one portion. The car and the moped suffered severe damages.
The car driver was identified as Mr. B S Suresh, a resident of Shadipur. The injured was rushed to G B Pant Hospital for treatment, where he got several stitches.
As per reports, the car driver was under influence of alcohol. Both the vehicles were later seized by Aberdeen Police and a case was registered at P S Aberdeen.
