Port Blair, July 24: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee in a letter addressed to Lt. Governor, has made an appeal to provide immediate relief to the fire victims of the fire accident which took place in Haddo on 21st July 2012.
In his letter Mr. Sharma has apprised the Lt. Governor, regarding the extensive loss incurred by the petty shop owners who were operating their shops from the fire devastated building and requested him to grant financial assistant and also allot shops to the poor fire victims in some of the market building of Port Blair Municipal Council, so that they could re-establish themselves and start earning livelihood for sustenance of their family.
