Port Blair, Oct 25: As a part of celebration of upcoming 3rd National Ayurveda Day on 05- 11-2018 (Dhanwantri Jayanti), AYUSH wing of DHS and A & N State AYUSH Society jointly organized an Ayurveda Health Camp on 22-10-2O18 at Chatham Saw Mill. The camp was formally inaugurated by Mr. Diganta Gogoi, IFS, CCF (D&U) in the presence of Mr. Murali Shankar, IFS, DCF (Mill Division) and Mr. Pravin Pandi Mohandas, Asst. Labour Commissioner, Chatham Saw Mill.
In his inaugural speech, Mr. Diganta Gogoi, IFS, CCF (D&U) stressed on the importance of traditional medical system of Ayurveda and appealed the employees of the mill to avail the benefits of the camp to stay healthy.
Services were rendered by Dr. Kalyan P. Kadbhane, DD (AYUSH), Dr. A. Sudarshan MO (Ayurveda), Dr. S. Saranya MO (Ayurveda) and Mr. Prakash Lall, Pharmacist (Ayurveda) of AYUSH Hospital. More than 150 patients were benefitted.
