Port Blair, Oct 25: It is brought to knowledge of Electricity Consumers and General Public that preventive maintenance of HT switchgear at Phoenix Bay Power House shall be carried out on 27.10.2018 (Saturday) from 0800 Hrs. In this connection, power supply in Part of Gurudwara Lane, Bengali Club, Biggi Lane, Anthropological Museum, Middle Point, Link Road, VIP Road, Police Line, part of Junglighat, Dairy Farm Junction, CPWD Complex, Lamba Line, Ranchi Tekery, School Line complete & part of Minnie Bay, Marine Hill, Dugnabad complete, Round Basti & Netaji Club area, Light House, Phoenix Bay, Fisheries Jetty area, Anarkali, Delanipur, Quarry Hill, Phongy Kyaung, Foreshore Road, Megapode, Teal House, Horticulture Road, Part of Junglighat, Vijay Baugh, Dairy Farm complete, Vidhyut Bhawan, Electricity HQ Office, PBMC Auditorium, APWD CE Office, Secretariat, Court Complex, PAO, Raj Niwas & Gandhi Park, STS Workshop, BSNL Bhawan, Model School Area, Fire Brigade, ANIIDCO Bhawan area, Girls School, CCS Aberdeen Bazaar area, Supply Line complete, Netaji Stadium area, Electricity Bazaar site office, Jama Masjid, Netaji Club and part of Gurudwara Lane areas may be got interrupted on as and when required basis from 0800 Hrs. to 1300 Hrs. The schedule of power interruption is tentative and particular time & duration of area wise interruption will be decided based on requirement.
In addition to above, power supply remain suspended in Part of Atlanta Point, PHQ, G.B.Pant Hospital, Cellular Jail area and Marina Park area on 27.10.2018 from 0730 Hrs. to 1400 Hrs. in connection with urgent maintenance of distribution sw transformer structure near Atlanta Point (Islet) :-
The time mentioned in the schedule is tentative, if the work completes earlier the feeder will be charged accordingly. The inconvenience caused is regretted.
