Port Blair, Oct 23: In a Humane gesture the students, Staff and Management of MGIS contributed Rs. 25000/- towards Kerala CMs Distress Relief Fund for flood victims.
“Every section from MGIS has contributed generously for Kerala flood victims and now these little school students have also shown the spirit and came forward for a social cause. Their sensitivity is truly praiseworthy,” said by Principal.Teachers have also given their one-day salary to Kerala CMs Distress Relief Fund for flood victims.
The state is not yet came out of the trauma of battling one of the worst floods in the country. The disaster has killed nearly 500 people, drove one million out of their homes, collapsed buildings washed away farmland, and destroyed major roads and bridges.This has caused at least 200 billion rupees worth of damage.
