Aamkunj Beach, Rangat, Oct 14: A tourist from Jalpaiguri West Bengal Mr. Kairul Alam Rabbani (62) S/o Mamatazuddin Ahmed died this morning at about 0730 AM, while he along with his family member had got to visit Aamkunj beach of Middle Andaman, on the way to Diglipur.
All the tourists reportedly stayed at Ross & Smith Island hotel at Rangat bazaar had their breakfast after which they went to Aamkunj beach. At beach they reportedly had tender coconut.
The Tourist Mr. Kairul meanwhile went to eco toilet at beach. When the person did not came out the beach caretaker on suspicion knocked the door but he got no response.
The relatives also when failed to get any response they anyhow entered the toilet and saw that Mr. Kairul has collapsed inside the eco-toilet.
Soon the matter was intimated to Police authorities and the he was shifted to CHC Rangat, where he was declared bought dead.
The Post Mortem was done and the body was handed over to the relatives today. Later, the body was anyhow shifted to Middle Strait, from where PBMC Mortuary van carried the body to Port Blair. The cause of death is still not clear.
Tomorrow the body and relatives will be flown to Bagdogra via Kolkata.
As per reports, Sub-Inspector Mr. Somen Haldar, PC Shiv Prakash Tiwari of PS Rangat, Mr. Muniyandi, a Private Contractor of Rangat, Mr. Abdul Aziz of Darbar Bekary Rangat, Mr. Ebrahim of Salma Book Depot and other residents of Rangat area collectively helped to make all these arrangements for the family of the tourist.
