Port Blair, Oct 03: On the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the Inmates and Committee Members of the Seva Niketan, Dairy Farm organised a rally at Dairy Farm market area and appealed to the shopkeeper and people not to use plastic and keep the city clean, which will be a true Shradanjali to the Father of the Nation. The team also distributed pamphlets on “Save the Mother Land” and “Protect Ozone Layer”. After the rally, the Inmates and Members paid tribute to the Father of the Nation and Shri. Lal Bhadur Sastri. A film directed by Padmashree Naresh Chander Lal titled the Gandhi the Mahatma was also screened on the occasion.
