Port Blair, Sept 28: As part of World Tourism Day celebration, the Indira Gandhi national
Open University, Regional Centre, Port Blair has organized Essay Competition on ‘Tourism Spots of Port Blair”. The function held at 3-PM on 27th September, 2018 at RC, Port Blair. The students
of Tourism Studies and MA Hindi, English were participated in the event. The students of IGNOU have submitted the hand written essay and also given oral presentation before the audience. They covered the
popular tourist spots namely, Havelock, Ross Island, Jolly Bouy. One of the student given fresh idea to renovate, upgrade the PungiBaalu Jetty near Wandoor Beach. It will be an addition of new Tourist Spot
in and around Port Blair, he said. All the participants have been given Certificate of Appreciation from Regional Centre.
