Port Blair, Sept 24: As part of Swactchhta Hi Sewa Programme the CPWD- Port Blair office origanised colouring and Essay competition for school children on Sunday at Multipurpose Hall of CPWD, GPRA, Ranchi Basthi.
The colourful event attracted over 120 School Children . The hall was full of colouring items with future artists of India. Children from Vivekananda Nagarapalika Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya I & II, Navy Children School, Diary From Govt. School etc. have Participated in the competitions.
The budding artist Baby Shiva Muragan and Amanya P.K. (3- years) also participated with +2 students. All Parents motivated their young talent groups to get sensitised towards swatchhta. Dr. Vinit Kumar, officer-in charge, NIOT, Dr. N. Lakshmi, HOD, Department of Hindi, ANCOL and Dr. S.Ganesan, Regional Director, IGNOU were Judges for the competitions. Appreciation Certificate was given to all participants, besides medals for top three students in each category group. Parents conveyed their appreciations to CPWD team for organising such competition on Swatchhta Hi Sewa Programme, a Communication from CPWD Said.
