Port Blair, Sept 19: On 14-15/09/2018 an awareness as well as cultural programme was organised by the PET (police entertainment team) at Neil Island under the leadership of Head Constable Mr Wasim of IRBn on the eve of Ganesha Chaturthi where the huge gathering of local residents & tourists were made aware by displaying various skits on ill-effects of tobacco consumption & its consequences, cyber crime and precautionary measurements to be taken during fire accident.
The entire programme represented by the PET has been highly appreciated by one and all and the Pradhan Neil Ramkrishna Biswas and Public thanked the DGP of A & N Island and the SHO of Neil Island for organising such a good and useful programmes by police.
