Current speeds vary between 39 – 59 cm/sec. Fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea.
NICOBAR:-High waves in the range of 3.0 – 3.4 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 17-08-2018 to 23:30 hours of 19-08-2018 along the west coast of Nicobar Islands from Ten Degree Channel to Great Channel. Current speeds vary between 74 – 111 cm/sec. Fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea. The general public is advised to take precautionary measures and in case of any emergency contact in the State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres.
