Port Blair, Aug 17: The President TMC ANI Mr. P. Cheaku, Smti. V. Alima Bibi, President Trinamool Mahila Congress ANI and all leaders of TMC State Committee frontal organizations express profound grief on the demise of Ex-Prime Minister of India Late Atal Behari Vajpayee, a great leader of the country. In the condolence meeting Smti Alima Bibi said that she had the opportunity to receive Late A.B. Vajpayee at Car Nicobar on 30.12.1998 along with the tribal leaders Late Manoranjan Bhakta Ex-MP and the then Lt. Governor I.P. Gupta. She further said, she represented the people of Great Nicobar Campbell bay being an elected PRI and handed over a memorandum addressing the grievances of Great Nicobar Islands to the Prime Minister.In her message she said “We lost a great leader and this is an irreparable loss to the nation. May his soul rest in peace”.
