Port Blair, Aug 06: The special team of PS Aberdeen has solved two cases of burglary by arresting one accused namely Kalanjia Raja (26 yrs), Labour R.K.Store R/o Dignabad and recovered the stolen property.
On 24/07/2018, two burglary cases were registered at PS Aberdeen for theft of gold ornaments and cash from a house and a shop at Sisty Nagar.
Upon this, the special team of PS Aberdeen consisting of HC V. Hentho, PCs Suresh Kumar, D. Shiv Kumar, Sudeep Kumar and Vinod Liniya headed by Inspector A.K. Singh, SHO PS Aberdeen under supervision of SDPO (SA) Mr. Nishant Gupta was formed to crack these cases.
On credible information from a reliable source, the accused person namely Kalanjia Raja (26 yrs) R/o Dignabad was apprehended, who was subjected to sustained interrogation. During interrogation, he confessed the offence and the stolen property were recovered from his possession at his instance.
He was later arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court Port Blair from where he has been sent to judicial custody. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
