Port Blair, July 27: Training of newly recruited seven Junior Engineers, One Chargeman and One Transport Officer in the Transport Department was concluded today.
The Trainees were imparted training on theoretical as well as practical aspects during the course of two months rigorous training. During this period the trainees who are well qualified and well versant with the latest technological advancement also implemented their fresh ideas and methods. While concluding the training, Mr. Navlendra Kumar Singh Director of Transport exhorted the trainees to work with new & youthful zeal and enthusiasm and contribute constructively for the betterment of Department so that general public can avail a good and efficient Transport Service. It is also to highlight that these trainees have been posted in the far flung Islands of this U.T. Director Transport further expressed his hope that these trainees would bring laurels to the Department through their dedication and hard work.
