Port Blair, July 25: Port Blair Municipal Council has conducted an induction training programme for the newly recruited Lower Grade Clerks as well as in service employees of PBMC from 16thJuly 2018 to 25th July 2018 in the Conference hall/auditorium of the Council. It is felt necessary to build the capacity of all the employees through induction training before they are assigned any responsibilities.This being the first time in Andaman the expert’s faculty from National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad has conducted in house training programme for the officials of PBMC.
With a view to enhance the working aptitude of the PBMC employees, the training programme has covered under various subjects such as Office procedures, Constitution of India, Conduct Rules for civil servant, Overview ofGST, GeM, GFR, Vigilance issues, Disciplinary proceedings, RTI Act etc. In addition to training specific emphases were made to inculcate to be citizen friendly and service oriented. After completion of the training programme on 25th July 2018 a valediction function was organized wherein Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Secretary PBMC presided over the function. Secretary applauded the faculty member and employees for successfully completing the training programme as this is the first ever training programme being conducted by the Port Blair Municipal Council. As a token of love a memento was also handed over to the faculty member of NIFM, Faridabad by the Council.
