Port Blair, July 18: The A&N Administration, with a view to distribute tourists, in different shows and managing traffic congestion around Cellular Jail, has revised the tariff and introduce differential tariff for Sound & Light show at Cellular Jail. However, since the show has educational as well as historic importance, the rates for third and fourth shows have been kept unchanged. The new revised tariff will come into effect from August 1, 2018. The advance booking is permitted 90 days in advance and upto 3 pm on the date of the show, by logging on to http://www.andamantourism.gov.in/etourist. The e-Ticket is Non-Transferable and Non-Cancellable.
The tariff is as follows:

This differential pricing is also aimed at bringing transparency in booking of the Light and Sound Show and curbing the possibility of black marketing of the tickets.
The timing of the show will be change subject to timing of sunset. Photo Identity Proof of Visitor is must for entry to the show. Any attempt of impersonation will be dealt with strict action and the person will be liable for prosecution under relevant law in public interest.
If the information provided is found wrong, the e-tickets will be deemed cancelled without any refund and appropriate action as per applicable law may also be initiated for providing wrong information.
As the show is conducted in open air, it is subject to cancellation at short notice, due to inclement weather and unlikely/unforeseen reasons etc. The Directorate of Tourism shall not be responsible for any such event.
