Port Blair, July 02: Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, Nominated Member of Home Ministry Advisory Committee cum State General Secretary BJP, A&N Islands met Mr. J. P. Nadda, the Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, recently at New Delhi.
During this meeting, he requested the ministry for upgradation of Community Health Centre, Diglipur, North Andaman, A&N Islands to Sub-District Hospital.
In this context, he demanded to upgrade the existing Community Health Centre with ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Dialysis Unit, Diagnostics & Related Equipment and Medical Specialists & Specialists in different branches. The minister has reportedly given assurance that the necessary action shall be taken soon.
