Port Blair, July 11: Andaman and Nicobar Police have registered case against one for driving car dangerously, under the influence of liquor. The car reportedly put lives to one auto driver and one bike riders in risk this afternoon, near Gandhi Park Cattle Pound. Because of the car one auto and one bike got serious damages after a minor accident. However there is no report of any injury.

Come evening and they can be spotted anywhere, sitting on bikes or perched atop car bonnets holding plastic glasses enjoying their drink unmindful of the surroundings and set of rules prohibiting drinking at public places. What is worrying is the fact that the malice of roadside drinking in the city is not confined to any particular area or locality…It is effecting everybody’s lyf…Had there been strict rules about the menace of drinking harassment, things would have been little better then ????
