Port Blair, Jun 29: About 20 kg of sea cucumber has been sized by the Forest Department from the Port Blair International Airport on 25th June from the baggage of Chennai bound38 years old passenger named Sabrirajan S/o Late Karuppaiya R/o Tamil Nadu. According to details the Sea Cucumber was first detected while baggage scanning following which Forest Department was informed. As per report the accused was imminently arrested who later revealed that this Sea Cucumber is given by his uncle who is a resident of Chouldari. Later as per report a raid was also conducted at the residence of the Uncle of accused named Murgeshan, 58 years old S/o Late Arumugam R/o Chouldari where the Forest Department also found some Sea Cucumber. Later the Uncle of accused was also arrested.
