Port Blair, June 21: Today the Civic Chief Mr. Indra Pal Singh alongwith a team of Engineering Wing visited the mutton market area situated at Dairy farm, Ward No:14.
During the inspection, the tenants briefed about the problems being faced by them due to the dilapidated conditions of the shop buildings. After giving a patience hearing the Civic chief directed the concerned officials to take up the renovation works of the market area immediately and complete it in a stipulated period so as to enable the tenants to do their business smoothly.
The shopkeepers thanked the Chairperson, PBMC for visiting the area and taking a firm action on their grievances.
