Port Blair, July 10: Mr. R Mohan, The State President of BJP has expressed gratitude towards local media for bringing a recent case of foeticide before the AN Administration and people of these islands.
He also thanked to the AN Police department for their prompt actions in the case. “This may not be out of place if the Party says it a doubtful case of female foeticide. As per the statement given by the mother, she is already having a daughter and removed the precautionary measures of avoiding pregnancy. Her statement proves that she wanted to conceive and when somehow she came to know about the sex of the baby, she had gone for abortion by paying money to Kalpana clinic,” Mohan said in his letter addressed to the Lt. Governor.
Mohan also requested thorough probe into this matter so that along with these fake doctors, the father of the child is also punished.
