Port Blair, May 13: A peaceful rally was organized by the family members, friends and well wishers of Late Dhanalaxmi, who committed suicide on 08 May, because of alleged family problems. Nearly 45 people took part in this rally.
The rally was mainly planned to demand arrest of the mother-in-law of the victim while the husband of the victim has already been arrested on the charges of abetment for suicide.
As per details, the Andaman and Nicobar Police had already arrested the mother-in-law in the morning much before the rally. The rally started from Bhatu Basti Today and ended at Tiranga Park of Aberdeen Bazaar.
