Port Blair, Apr 22: Tourist visiting Andaman and Nicobar Islands will now also get the exciting experience of Para Sailing, introduced by Coral Safari from yesterday at Corbyn’s Cove beach.
The Para Sailing Service was inaugurated by the Secretary Tourism Department, Mr Ramesh Verma yesterday at 11:00 am. During the inaugural ceremony, the President, Andaman Association of Tour Operators, Mr M Vinod was also invited as a guest.
After taking Parasailing ride, Mr Ramesh Verma shared his experience with Andaman Sheekha and said that this experiment was mind blowing and I also prefer such kind of adventure water sport activities be continuous across Andaman & Nicobar Islands with all safety measures.
This experiment will definitely boost the Andaman Tourism in near future. Further talking about safety, Mr Verma said that department doesn’t move ahead with any project where there are no safety measures. “Each and every tourist from children to an aged person all are very important to us and thus we will never compromise with the quality, even I took all safety measures before doing the parasailing,” said Mr Verma.
Lastly he also appreciated the team of Coral Safari and said that the team did a good study about the waters here, wind speed and they are well aware. With introduction of long awaited Para-Sailing in Andaman, the adventure sports field of Andaman Tourism will get a massive boast.
