Port Blair, Apr 18: A & N Private Jeep Drivers Welfare Union of A & N Islands organized a meeting at Community Hall Ograbraj, where Mr. Mohd. Safique, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Mithakhari was the Chief Guest in presence of Mr. Anand Amrit Raj, Ex-Up Adhayaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman and Mr. Manoj Lall, Sub Inspector, P.S Ograbraj.
Mr. Manoj Lall, the Sub Inspector explained about the Traffic Rules and Regulations. Thereafter the Union conducted the Election for Treasures and Mr. Kamal Singh was elected unanimously.
The president, Mr. C Mohd. Arif demanded for construction of Parking place near Tushnabad Junction Ward No.03 and highlighted various issues related to welfare of Jeep Union.
The Chief Guest and other guests assured to fulfill these demands shortly. Jeep union under Ferrargunj Tehsil attended the meeting the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. O.P Moideen, Secretary.
