Port Blair, Apr 17: Andaman Safaris in association with Experience Andaman is all set to organize car racing event in Andaman, AUTO CROSS 2018 Season-II, with message of “Skills on track not on road”. The race will be organized with proper approval and under guidelines of FMSCI (The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India).
Addressing a press conference today at 11am, Mr. Ashraf Haneef, Managing Director Andaman Safaries said that the motto of organizing this event in these Islands, is to bring about awareness on traffic rules and safety on the road also to inform the youth that speed and racing is meant for racing tracks under expert guidance and not for the roads.
Miss Bani Yadav “India’s fastest woman car rallyist” will be the celebrity guest for the event and District Commissioner, South Andaman, Mr Udit Prakash Rai and Chairperson PBMC, Mr. Indrapal Singh will flag off the race.
He further informed media that this event is open for both male and female race lovers. Candidates, who are 21 and above, can approach as individual or as team of 3 to 4.
This time couple class entry has also been added. The event will be held on 22nd April,2018 at Beodnabad Opp. Hotel Park while the test run and event briefing will be carried out on 21st April,2018.
