Port Blair, Apr 10: On 01-02-2018 a burglary case was register on the complaint of Miss Shanu Biswas regarding theft of bag from her car containing important documents, jewellery and cash.
Upon this, the special team of PS Aberdeen consisting of SI J.R. Krishna, PC Suresh, PC Shiv Kumar and PC Jayanta Biswas, under close supervision of Insp. A. K. Singh, SHO PS Aberdeen put tremendous efforts by deploying their manual and technical sources to unearth the theft. On credible information from reliable sources, two suspected persons were apprehended and during interrogation the accused person namely R. Chinnatambi (22 yrs.) and K. Konguswamy (23 yrs.) both residents of Austinabad accepted their guilt and most of the stolen properties was recovered from the possession of accused.
The entire operation took place under the direction of Insp. A. K. Singh, SHO PS Aberdeen and overall supervision of SDPO (SA) Mr. Nishant Gupta. The public is requested to share information with Police in full confidence so that such anti-social elements are brought to justice and may pass such information to 03192-232100, 03192-232400 and 9434288673. The informant will be suitably rewarded and his/her identity will be kept secret.
