Baratang, April 09: Final match between Kadamtala v/s Forest XI Baratang of Baratang Premier Knockout T20 Cricket Tournament was played today at play ground of Govt. Middle School South Creek.
Both teams were announced winner by the organizer as the match stopped abruptly due to bad weather conditions. The cash prize was distributed among both the teams equally. Both the teams received cash prize of Rs.40,000 each.
On this occasion Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament of A & N Islands was the Chief Guest while Mr. Kurma Rao (Ex-Zilla Parishad Member), Mr. Biju Gurudarsan (Pradhan, Sundergarh), Mr. Rajendar Verma (ACF, Forest Department), Mrs. M.V.Jolly (Principal, G.S.S. Oralkatcha), Dr. Meena Nasir (PHC, Baratang), Mr. Moideen Kutty (SHO, Baratang) were the guests of honor.
