Port Blair, March 16: The Associate Professor of Mahatma Gandhi Government College, Mayabunder , against whom a case under POCSO Act, 2012 was registered recently, for allegedly sexually harassing a female student, has been arrested today.
The Associate Professor was in Chennai and a team of police department was sent from Port Blair to Chennai to arrest the accused. On arrival at Port Blair he was arrested by Investigating Officer of the case and was produced to court of ADJ, from where he was released in bail.
