Diglipur, Mar 04: Besides commoners, Police officers and Jawans of Diglipur region also celebrated Holi on Friday. Almost all the staffs of Diglipur region came out on road and played Holi with the general public by smearing colors and distributing the sweets.
Along with celebration, the police team undertook all possible measures to ensure peaceful celebration of the festival.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of the region, Mr. Sukant S Ballabh was seen playing drums on the streets and wished the public on the occasion of Holi.
At almost all crucial points, the police personnel group sang and dance, some played drums and dholak while other smeared dry and water colors on others. Such open and friendly gesture of police team left Islanders are remote Diglipur region highly impressed.
