Port Blair, Feb 27: Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President BJP, A&N Islands urged the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to develop industrial estates to generate employment opportunity to unemployed youths in A&N Islands.
He mentioned in his letter that, during 80’s a land was allotted for establishing industrial estate at Lamba Pahad, Wimberlygunj but till date no developmental work was initiates by the Administration.
The reason for raising unemployment problem is due to lack private industries in our isles. He also suggested the A&N Administration to develop Approach Road in the allotted land and it shall encourage the unemployed youths to establish food processing sectors and other industrial sectors on their effort in the allotted place.
