Port Blair, Feb 18: Mr. Bishnu Pda Ray, the M.P. A & N Islands in presence of Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President, Bhartiya Janta Party,A & N Islands, Mr. Sandeep Biswas, Pramukh, Panchayat Samit Ferrar Gunj, Smti Mary Puspa, Pradhasn, Shoal Bay Gram Panchayat, Mr. O.Baseer, Pradhan Manar Ghat Gram Panchayat and the official of APWD has laid the foundation stone for construction State High Way for total length of 2.26 K.m (from Shoal Bay-15 to Shoal Bay-19 )under the state fund within the estimated cost of Rs: 07.79 Crores. The demand for road connectivity from Shoal Bay-15 to Shoal Bay-19 was since settlement of the village. Hence, the prominent leaders and villagers of the Shoal Bay Panchayat are very much happy and loudly expressed their gratitude to the Administration, the Member of Parliament and other all concerned for taking possible efforts for full filling their long pending demands of road connectivity.
