Port Blair, Feb 15: Andaman and Nicobar Command has been conducting regular outreach programs for the local population in distant islands. As part of a similar initiative, multi-speciality Medical camp was conducted at Air Force Station Carnic on 13 Feb 18 and CHC (Community Health Centre) Kamorta on
14 Feb 18. The team was headed by Surgeon Captain Mohan S Rote, Deputy Chief Staff Officer (Medical) of HQ ANC. The team consisted of Dermatologist, Psychiatrist, ENT Specialist, Eye Specialist and Medical Officers from service hospitals. At Kamorta, the services were augmented by a Dental Surgeon of CHC Kamorta. The medical camp received an enthusiastic response and a total of 150 patients received expert medical opinion and treatment.
