Jirkatang, Feb 09: A Private Bus of Geetanjali today collided with a private pick-up Van inside the Jarwa Tribal Reserve forest of Andaman Trunk Road.
According to reports, the accident occurred at about 9:20 a.m, nearly 10 km away from Jirkatang Jarawa Outpost.
While Geetanjali bus was coming towards Port Blair, the pick-up van was going towards Middle Strait.
The driver of the pick-up van survived the incident miraculously but suffered many injuries. The pick-up van also reportedly suffered heavy damages. The reason behind the accident is still not clear.
