Port Blair, Feb 02: Kala Kendra Society under the Department of Art & Culture in collaboration with Department of Tourism, Education and Industries is organizing a programme titled ‘UTSAV’ 2018 – A Festival of Play, Dance & Music, Art & Craft on 3rd & 4th February 2018 from 5.30 pm onwards in the premises of SSS Girls. The main attraction of the programme will be presentation of a Play by ‘Khela Natya Sansthan’- a renowned theatre group from Chandigarh besides performances by local cultural groups in the Girls School Auditorium, flea market and handicraft exhibitions. The Play-“Koi dukh na ho toh bakri karid Lo” is based on the story of Munshi Premchand which has been designed and directed by Namrata Sharma and Choreography is by Aparna Sharma.
Mr. Anindo Majumdar, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration will inaugurate the festival on 3rd February 2018 at 6 pm. Department of Art & Culture has invited one and all to come and witness the programme and Flea Market.
