Port Blair, Jan 30: A delegation from Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram met the Chairperson, PBMC and put forth their grievances pertaining to their Ashram Mr. Indrapal Singh, Chairperson, PBMC alongwith Mrs. Sheela Singh, Ward Councillor, Mr. S. Ganeshan, Executive Engineer, Mr. Avinash Kr. Singh, Executive Engineer and allied engineering staffs on 29-01-2018 visited the Ashram area. After inspection of the spot and a patient hearing, the chairperson issued directions to the engineering wing to take up the task.
Mr. Indrapal Singh, Chairperson, PBMC on today visited Bathubasthi range office area ward no.24 alongwith engineering staffs. The local residents appraised the problems being faced by them wherein the main problem is inadequate supply of drinking water. After a tranquil hearing the chairperson directed the official concern to resolve the issues within a week.
