Madhupur, Jan 21: A fire accident reported from Madhupur village of Diglipur has left many questions unanswered. As per the sources at nearly 8 AM on Saturday, flames erupted from the bedroom side of SitanathHalder’s house at Madhupurward No 7. When two ladies in the house saw the flames, they raised alarm and tried to douse the fire. Immediately nearby villagers helped them and finally the fire was controlled. Later while checking, few wooden pieces with Kerosene were found behind the house.15 days ago the house of KalipadaDakua, just 20 meters away from the present accident site was destroyed in similar fire accident. Now villagers are suspecting some high level conspiracy behind these accidents.
The Samiti members of the area have also written a complaint letter to the PS Diglipur in this regard and demanded proper investigation. The police started investigation in this matter and picked up some people for interrogation, further details are awaited.
