Port Blair, Jan 19: A meeting of government employees and teachers was held at Baratang on 18/01/18, which decided to revive the Baratang Branch of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association.
Addressing the meeting Mr. T.S.Sreekumar, General Secretary told about the recent developments and activities of the Association.
He expressed serious concern over the indifferent attitude of the Central Government towards the genuine demands pertaining to Government employees all over the country.
Mr. R.Surendran Pillai, Asst. General Secretary of the Association also addressed the meeting. The meeting elected Mr. R.P.Singh and Mr. Biswajit Biswas as Vice President & Secretary of the Branch respectively. Other Office Bearers and executive members were also elected in the meeting. Mrs. Santa Raj proposed vote of thanks.
