Port Blair, Jan 15: The Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands expresses heartfelt condolence on the sudden demise of Mr Beant Singh, former Director of Education, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, at GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair today (14.1.2018) at 7.15 p.m. He was 83 years and left behind one son. This Association recalls his contribution towards augmentation of Education to the remote villages in these islands. The Association conveys its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved members of his family. The funeral procession will take place at 12 noon on 15th Jan 2018 from Gurudwara Dr Diwan Singh, Port Blair.
