Port Blair, Jan 09: A group of Islanders who had invested their hard earned money in the Rose Valley Group of Company Limited are now seeking the help of the Andaman Administration, to get their money back from the said Chit Fund Company.
Identifying the shady officials of Rose Valley as Mr Bishnu Das (Branch In Charge), Mr Sapan Sarkar (Senior Field Worker) Mr Abhijeet Dutta (Senior Field Worker), Mr Bilash Chandra Haldar (Senior Field Worker), Mr Dhiren Mondal (Senior Field Worker), the victim said that these officials had approached them for investing money in Rose Valley in per month basis for the purpose of booking standard AC Room accommodation with services offered by Rose Valley Hotels and Entertainment Limited.
The victims stated that the company had offered them lucrative schemes and trapped them.
“We are private workers except few and we have deposited our hard earned money in Rose Valley Group Company Limited but the aforesaid staffs of the company have cheated us till date we didn’t get our the money back and also the company has closed down its office at Port Blair and other Islands,” said the victims.
The victims further stated that since last two years they are approaching the company and their agents but even though they haven’t got back their money.
There are more than 50 victims who have been cheated by the company and the victims are now running from pillar to post to get their money back.
Not only Rose Valley, dozens of other chit fund companies had opened office at Port Blair and Diglipur before Saradha Scam became public and after Saradha Scam all the agents of these companies have escaped from Andaman. Sadly even after reporting by Andaman Sheekha in this regard the local Administration has failed to arrest even one owner of any of these companies and punished him.
Hope atleast in this case where there are sufficient evidences the Administration will take some steps and arrest the wrong doers.
